LABU SAYONG from PERAK Perak is famous for its pitcher or vessel known locally as Labu Sayong. Labu is a pitcher and Sayong is a small village near a river in the royal town of Kuala Kangsar in this state.

Believe It or Not? LABU SAYONG is shaped like a bottle gourd and serves as a water container. This hand built pitcher is believed to be able to keep water cool and this cool water acts as a means to reduce body temperature and cure certain ilnesses. Besides that it is also made for home decorations.
